Hi all. For the last couple of days i've noticed that I can get email through my hotmail account using outlook express but I can't send email through that accoutn. Every time i try to send a message using that accounter I get some message saying ankwnown error has occured can't connecut to smpt or something. Has anybody else had this problem, and if so how can it be fixed? I have the outgoing mail port set to 25 and the box that says my sevor requirs ssl checked.
It's been a very long time since I've dealt with this Queen. It sounds to me like outlook is not synkronizing properly with your account. It's a very common problem, and I know that a quick google search will net you the appropriate results. It should be just ma matter of tweeking outlok. I'm sorry I can't give you more than that, but it's been over a year since I dealt with the issue.

Yes, Microsoft has changed it so that hotmail and Outlook Express no longer really work together. They're trying to force people to upgrade to what they call Windows Live Mail, which sucks. Instead of doing that, I just got a gmail address, and keep my hotmail one for MSN messenger.
